Our Story
In the summer of 2020, Claire and Cody had an unconventional meeting online. Over the course of the summer, they spent time chatting and talking. With her being in nursing school in St. Louis and him being stationed in North Carolina both of them didn't really expect anything to come out of it.
After getting to know each other more, Claire decided to take the plunge and make a trip out to meet Cody in North Carolina. From the time they first met, they knew something was different. After a couple of months of denial that they had feelings for each other and multiple trips back and forth, Cody asked Claire to officially be his girlfriend on November 22, 2022. Little did they know, their lives would be changed forever.

Is there a dress code?
We want you to be comfortable at our wedding. The dress code is dressy casual attire. For this time of year in North Carolina, may we suggest the following attire:
- Women: sundresses, lightweight separates and flats or wedge heels for the outdoor ceremony/cocktail hour.
- Men: light dress shirt with khaki or other lightweight slacks; jackets and ties optional."
What might the weather be like?
Typically, the weather in NC around late august is between 85
and 95 degrees in late august. The ceremony and cocktail hour are located in shaded areas. These areas have fans but we are asking that all guests dress for hot weather.
Can I bring the kids?
Whilst we love little ones, we kindly request a child-free wedding. We encourage all parents to enjoy a night out partying with us on our special day!

Cody and Claire are getting married at the beautiful Cornealius Properties located in Goldsboro, NC. They both knew that they wanted nature to be surrounding them on their big day. Even on a cold, rainy day in February, they knew this was the one!

The Proposal
Over many months, Claire had brought up to Cody multiple times how she wanted professional pictures taken of them together. So for Christmas 2022, Cody decided to gift Claire a photo shoot with her favorite Wilmington-based photographer. While they were getting their pictures taken, Cody got down on one knee and asked Claire to marry him. The two of them were both so excited for the next chapter of their lives as Fiances.
